Kac Young, Ph.D. shares insights given to her by her cat Spirit in her book My First Autobiography: From Street Life to Sweet Life.
Spirit, the cat, chronicles its life on the street and then when rescued by Dr. Young. The lessons shared apply to situations all humans find themselves experiencing. He shows us how to go from street life to sweet life.
He was growing up through the eyes of a cat who was abandoned on the streets of South Central LA, the perils of his young life, the terror of being trapped and rescued, and then found his forever home. As a result, he learned many grueling life lessons that he candidly shares with his readers and fans.
Spirit tells the truth as he sees it and has found many fans on Facebook for his sassy style. He wrote the book to celebrate turning One and becoming a real cat. His anecdotes are genuine, authentic, and told from his heart.
The lessons Spirit shares are adaptable to every human child or adult. Through the eyes of this animal that has endured every emotion humans endure is a way-shower of how one can overcome obstacles to create and enjoy a full life.
