Reiki Master Teacher Michele Denis shares how to heal using Reiki, Marma Points, and Portals.
Reiki is an ancient healing system brought to the West in 1937 by Mrs. Hwayo Takata, a Japanese emigrant. Takata continued to practice and teach Reiki until her passing in 1980. As a result, traditional Reiki has evolved over the years with numerous variants available today.
As a system of healing, the energy comes from the universe – The Reiki Ray, into the therapist’s hands and flows to the client. The wonderful thing about Reiki is the energy is intuitive and flows to where it is needed.
Through her work of over 25 years, Michele discovered the link between Marma Points and Reiki. Marma Points are specific places on one’s body where one uses pressure ( similar to acupressure) to heal a particular body area. Marma Points are an integral part of Ayurvedic medicine.
In this podcast, Michele Denis shares how to relieve aches and pains using Marma Points.
We also talk about portals here on earth. Portals are points on land where there is an open the door to the cosmos. Working to heal the earth’s energy is paramount right now to restore the earth’s energy and human energy. Michele talks about working with earth energies and the portals with the assistance of interdimensional and interplanetary beings.
Combining Reiki, Marma Points, and Portals, we are incorporating the trilogy concept for optimal healing. Yes, they can be used independently, and one does not have to be initiated in Reiki to work with Marma points or portals. Michele Denis used an excellent book for part of her training Ayurveda and Marma Therapy: Energy Points in Yogic Healing, by Dr. David Frawley.
Michèle E. Denis is passionate about uncovering ways we each engage with our Transcendent Selves. The Paths of Reiki, Meditation, and Yoga have been her route to personal discovery, growth, and healing. As a Life Coach, Michèle weaves together the principles of coaching and these practices to steady nervous systems and still minds and create an environment where one can listen deeply and connect with their True Self.
One of Michèle’s great joys is the time she gets to spend at Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, New York, where she has been a Core Meditation Faculty member since 2005 and a regular presenter at their Wisdom of Reiki Conferences.
When not out teaching, Michèle can be found in her garden with her husband, Fred, and their dog Molly, on the island of Snunéymuxw, in the Salish Sea.
